Panel to probe First Amendment and disinformation tensions.
November 18 Conversationalist Series features Samar Ali, Deborah Fisher, Dr. Andrew Ladley
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Thought leaders in law, diplomacy, and media will discuss the tension between First Amendment freedoms and disinformation in a program called “Protected Speech and Fear in America” hosted by national non-profit Millions of Conversations.
Millions of Conversations Founding President and CEO Samar Ali will moderate the discussion which includes Deborah Fisher, director of the John Seigenthaler Chair of Excellence in First Amendment Studies at Middle Tennessee State University and global conflict mediation expert Dr. Andrew Ladley.

Ali said understanding a rising tide of fear in America is important to healing our democracy and breaking down divisions in our country.
